Confession time: I never once set foot in a tent. The idea of camping was so foreign to me. But there’s something about the raw beauty of nature that changes you. And to truly embrace it, you have to leave the concrete walls behind. The Cave by Heimplanet has been my way of finding luxury in the wild.

Sometimes, you just have to step outside your comfort zone to discover something amazing.

Stay in places where memories are made and relaxation becomes an art.

Hideaways Beach Resort (Maldives)

For some, it’s just another white-sand-turquoise-water destination, but for me, it was the perfect place to learn scuba diving. The pool-like conditions reveal vibrant marine life even in the shallows. Situated on the remote Haa Alifu Atoll, Hideaways benefits from its isolation, protecting the surrounding waters from the pollution. The grand Water Villas offered ample privacy and space to unwind.

With rising sea levels, these islands reminds us that nature’s most precious gems may not last forever.

Como Parrot Cay (Turks & Caicos)

What are Turks & Caicos inhabitants called? No idea... Staying on the private island of Parrot Cay felt like a privilege, but it also created a cultural disconnect from local life. The beaches and turquoise waters were even more breathtaking than any postcard. However, the resort itself was fairly modest in its offerings and lacked the level of sophistication typically found in comparable luxury destinations.

When expectations fall short, let nature’s beauty help everything else fade away.

Zighy Bay (Oman)

Whether it’s the stark mountains or the serene waters, everything here whispers “Slow down”. Six Senses Zighy Bay is the perfect retreat to escape concrete jungles. This secluded bay is where the Bedouin spirit meets luxurious comfort. And to top it all off, their unique paragliding experience is the kind of thrill that makes this place truly unforgettable.

Zil Pasyon (Seychelles)

From the moment one steps out of the helicopter at Six Senses Zil Pasyon, the dreamy and secluded atmosphere of Félicité Island envelops you. The private island resort is the epitome of barefoot luxury, offering breathtaking views and privacy in every villa. However, spider-phobics beware: the island’s Nephila Inaurata spiders, though not harmful, can be daunting 😉

During my time in Helsinki, I visited Finlandia Caviar, a cozy spot by the harbor offering a unique tasting experience. Savoring fresh caviar and oysters while watching the boats drift by felt indulgent yet serene. The minimalistic and intimate setting, with its focus on high-quality delicacies, made the experience feel truly special.

As charming as it is to stroll and shop in St. Tropez, the heat can be overwhelming. Tucked away in a lush garden with refreshing mist, Dior Café des Lices offers the perfect spot to cool down and unwind in style. The chic setting and elegant décor exude effortless luxury, yet everything feels intimate and personal.

Visiting Victoria Distillers is a must-do for lovers of the iconic indigo Empress Gin. The distillery has a charming attached shop where you can enjoy complimentary tastings and sample the latest gin creations which may not yet be on the market. It’s also a convenient stop on the way to the Swartz Bay BC ferry terminal.

Riding a snowmobile through the snowy wilderness of Whistler was an exhilarating experience. The vast, untouched terrain of Blackcomb Mountain, with its breathtaking alpine views, made every moment feel like an adventure. I felt like a kid again, torn between racing ahead and soaking in the scenery.

Abbey Road Studios (London)

Stepping into the legendary Abbey Road Studios felt like entering music history. I took part in a singing workshop there, standing in the same rooms where iconic songs were recorded. The acoustics were incredible, and the sense of creative energy was palpable. It’s more than just a studio - it’s a place where music comes alive.

Il Ballo del Doge (Venice)

If you don't believe in Fairy tales, Il Ballo del Doge will make you change your mind. Unicorns, Harlequins, Kings & Queens, pearls, feathers, bling-bling and of course plenty of champagne! A magical night where I wondered whether I was in a dream… but my credit card pinched me awake.

At the Carnival of Venice, be ready for the enchantment and the bill that comes with it!

One With Nature (Vancouver Island)

As a city girl, I never thought I would be capable of building a shelter and making fire from scratch using just what nature has to offer. This survival training was a life-changing experience, not only physically but also psychologically. It’s all about mindset and learning the “WHY we are doing things” and not only the “HOW”.

Me, in my all-time favorite Moschino dress, ready for the ride! Moschino speaks to my soul: it’s bold, playful, and yet always manages to keep that touch of classic elegance. Whether it’s quirky details or daring designs, it’s fashion that doesn’t take itself too seriously but still knows how to turn heads.

Conduit Street and its surroundings are my favorite shopping destination in London. The mix of luxury brands, boutique shops, and elegant cafés makes it the perfect place to explore and empty your piggy bank. I personally prefer strolling from one boutique to another over the typical department store or mall experience. Whether it's discovering unique pieces or enjoying a coffee break, the relaxed charm of Mayfair makes shopping feel like an indulgence.

The real joy in shopping is savoring the journey, not rushing through it.

Exploring the world of luxury second-hand is like discovering hidden treasures. Recently, I stumbled upon a stunning Chanel summer jacket during a trip to Zurich at Reawake. The shop is spacious and has meticulously selected timeless pieces. It’s not your typical second-hand store; it feels more like a luxury gallery, where each item is thoughtfully chosen to offer a unique and elevated shopping experience.

Vivascarrion (Sevilla)

This little piece of art on top of my head was designed by Vivascarrion Art Milliners. Typically, the creator, Felipe, works for haute couture runway shows, but if you're lucky, he might open the door to his little atelier in the heart of Sevilla for you (visits by appointment only).
